The Fault in our Stars is a gripping and heart warming novel written by John Green.
When you first start reading the book, you might believe it’s a ‘stereotypical’ novel about a girl who has cancer. But its quite the opposite.
The book will take you on a roller coaster that takes you right into the lives of Hazel-Grace Lancaster and Augustus Waters. The book constantly takes you on a new journey, that keeps you engaged and interested in the book. When I read TFIOS for the first time, I read for 3  hours straight, because I just couldn’t put it down. I never got bored of it over those 3 hours and once I had finished it, I started reading it again straight after.
TFIOS is one of those books that you can read over, and over and over again, and you never get sick and tired of reading it. It will constantly surprise you and after reading it a couple of times you will begin to pick up on things that you didn’t pick up on the first times around.
There are a lot of famous quotes from the novel that are now known by millions of people around the world today. One of the most famous being “Okay?” “Okay.”
Although a simple few words, I found that it added an extra depth to the novel, that made it that much more enjoyable to read.

I definitely recommend this book to anyone. It will “take you on a roller coaster that only goes up my friend” ~ Augustus Waters

I hope you enjoy it as much as I did :) Happy reading!
