Drop Everything and Read

DEARS is held during pastoral class on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. DEARS stands for Drop Everything and Read and runs for the final ten minutes of pastoral time. Below is a list of online resources that you can access for your DEARS reading.

Follett Shelf E-Books : E-books provided via the library catalogue. Includes a range of fiction and non-fiction titles. Sign in using your Destiny user name and password.

Wheelers E-Books : Both fiction and non-fiction e-books. Includes a variety of Australasia and Pacific region titles. To login you need to register using the sign in option and check the FAQs area to check for the e-book reader to use with your device.

Spine Out : A great magazine for finding out what other students across the country are reading and other fun interviews and activities.You can also access it via the library catalogue.

SMH : Sydney Morning Herald, Sydney newspaper to catch up on current affairs.

The Australian : Australia wide newspaper to catch up on current affairs.

Bella Blog : Blog of the Bella magazine for teenagers. Copies of the magazine available to borrow from the library.
