Research Process‎ > ‎

Once you have formulated your topic questions and have narrowed your topic focus it is time to collection information on your narrowed topic focus. Start by having a look over the notes you took in the exploration stage, if there are sources that may contain more information on your narrower topic, revisit these sources and take more detailed notes. Revisit your mind map for key words to help with the more in depth searching  and add any new relevant terms from your questions and narrower topic.  Conduct your search on the refined topic to discover new sources and relevant information, making sure to record your notes

During this stage you may feel more confident, with a sense of direction, on a topic that is of increased interest to you. You can feel that you are getting closer to putting all your information and knowledge together to form the next stage, Presentation.
